Protection Hub: Enhanced protection for SAP data outside the system


With the latest enhancements to the Protection Hub for NetWeaver and DMS, we are strengthening the protection of sensitive SAP data beyond system boundaries.

 

Because data within SAP systems is usually well protected. It often becomes critical, however.

During export: As soon as information is downloaded, forwarded or archived as Office or PDF files, many companies lose transparency and control.


With Protection Hub , we support you precisely at this point with additional marking and protection mechanisms.

Lifecycle Hub and Operation Hub : Less manual work in SAP operations


Key functions have also been expanded in classic SAP operations. These include patch management, SAP Support Package and add-on updates via SPAM and SAINT, as well as additional options in the areas of kernel changes and web dispatcher packages.

The result: Certificates can be identified, evaluated, renewed, and documented in a more structured way. Especially in hybrid environments, this reduces operational risks because expiring or incorrectly assigned certificates become visible more quickly.

A key objective of our current developments is to further integrate SAP operations and SAP security. Many risks today arise precisely at the interfaces: between on-premise and cloud, between operations and security, and between interfaces, certificates, audit logs, and manual processes.
