PREPARATION

During the preparation phase, more than 50 tasks ensure that the target system is ideally prepared for the technical transfer of data from a source system. automatics carries out initial consistency checks, saves all critical and system-relevant information in the form of over 1100 tables and suspends the background jobs. Finally, the SAP components of the target system are stopped in order to transfer the data.

IMPLEMENTATION & CLEANUP

The automation of storage, backup and restore activities can be mapped quickly and easily with the help of automatics custom workflows. No matter which backup solution you use, automatics offers you the option of integrating it into the system copy processes.
After the data has been transferred from a source system, the system is started by automatics without batch processes and all technically necessary clean-ups are carried out. (BATCHJOBS (SM37), CCMS, BGRFC, ...)

SYSTEM POST-COPY
PROCESSING

As soon as the data has been imported from the source system and cleaned up, automatics takes care of re-importing the previously saved critical and system-relevant information into the target system. Subsequently, background processes are reactivated, printers are configured (SPAD), jobs are scheduled again and a final consistency check is carried out.
