Backend Developer (m/f/d)

About Us

At automatics.AI, we develop solutions that help companies automate and secure their SAP systems – from security and compliance to operational resilience. Our clients range from medium-sized businesses to enterprise companies and public sector clients.

 

To accelerate our growth in the DACH market, we are looking for a Backend Developer to support us in the further development of our software and accompany us on our path to automation.

Your mission

You will develop robust backend services that make our security and automation platform scalable, secure, and reliable.
You translate requirements cleanly into technical concepts, ensure high software quality, and support the implementation of innovative security and automation solutions in the SAP Basis environment.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Development and collaboration on our projects deployed throughout Europe
    Software solutions in the following areas:

    • Microservices in Python and Node.js

    • DevOps, container virtualization

    • ProgreSQL databases

    • API frameworks

  • Ensuring software quality

  • Analysis of technical requirements, including the creation of technical concepts.

  • Supporting the support team in finding and fixing software bugs together with customers and partners at home and abroad.

  • Conducting application tests and creating documentation

  • Development of innovative software solutions and automation concepts in the SAP Basis environment

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed education (HTL, (technical) university studies) or similar professional experience

  • Several years of professional experience in software development in the following areas:

    • Python and Node-JS (TypeScript)

    • Microservices in Python and Node.js

    • Container virtualization (e.g. Docker)

    • ProgreSQL databases

    • REST APIs & Webhooks

  • High quality awareness, analytical thinking, communication and teamwork skills

  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Collective agreement IT KV 2025, starting salary EUR 3,843. Overpayment possible depending on qualifications.
