Sales Development Manager (m/f/d)

At automatics.AI, we develop solutions that help companies automate and secure their SAP systems – from security and compliance to operational resilience. Our clients range from medium-sized businesses to enterprise companies and public sector clients.

 

To accelerate our growth in the DACH market, we are looking for a Sales Development Manager (m/f/d) who will build our pipeline and generate qualified appointments for our sales team with energy, structure and passion for cold calling.

Your mission

You are the spearhead of our sales: You find new customers, identify decision-makers, conduct initial meetings and pave the way for successful deals.

You combine speed with intelligence - every contact has substance.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Independent outbound lead generation via phone, email, and LinkedIn (Sales Navigator).

  • Lead qualification according to BANT/CHAMP – clarifying needs, budget, decision-making structure, and timeframe.

  • Scheduling appointments for our account executives (target: 12–18 qualified meetings per month).

  • Research: Identifying relevant stakeholders (IT management, SAP Basis, CISO, CIO, department heads).

  • Campaign work: Target customer lists, sequences, value messaging; close collaboration with marketing.

  • CRM discipline (Pipedrive): thorough documentation, next steps, forecasts.

  • Event support: Preparation and follow-up of webinars, trade shows, and campaigns.

  • Competitive analysis: Identifying objections, market trends, and trigger events and incorporating them into messaging.

YOUR PROFILE

  • First experience in outbound B2B software sales (SDR/BDR/Inside Sales or telemarketing).

  • Excellent German skills (spoken and written), good English skills.

  • Self-motivation and resilience: You handle rejection with composure, persevere, and find solutions.

  • A passion for communication and strong telephone skills – you enjoy connecting with people.

  • Structured work style with a fast pace, clear goals, and self-organization.

  • Basic understanding of the SAP context (SAP S/4HANA, BTP, typical roles, and partner landscape).

  • Routine experience with CRM and tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Sales Navigator, etc.).

  • Nice-to-have: Initial experience in a security/automation environment.
